| Maria Ariadna Thalia Sodi Miranda (born August 26, 1971 in Mexico City), kept on working in soap operas and making new records. "Mundo De Cristal" and "Love" were released before signing up to EMI Latin. "En Extasis" was produced by Emilio Estefan, Jr. In 1995 Thalía introduced her own lingerie line (similar to what singer Fey did with an exclusive line of jeans). After a needed time off, due to an exhausting period of hard work, she returned with two succesful albums. "Amor A La Mexicana" and "Arrasando". Thalia married well-known producer and entrepreneur Tommy Mottola before joining Steve Morales and Cory Rooney to start working on her first English-language songs, featured on "Thalía", released in 2003, including the hit single "I Want You" recorded along with Fat Joe. 2004's "Greatest Hits" comprised the development of her career . In June of 2005 she returned to the Latin music charts with "Amar Sin Ser Amada", fist single out of her album "El Sexto Sentido". "Lunada" is released in 2008. |
